A Gahanna motivational speaker's lessons on dealing with adversity soon will be included with submissions by Deepak Chopra, Joyce Brothers, fellow speaker Les Brown and University of Tennessee women's basketball head coach Pat Summit.

Rosemarie Rossetti will be featured in the third volume of Mission Possible! (Insight Publishing, 2002).

Rossetti said local fellow speaker and sales trainer Winnie Ary nominated her to be included in the book, in which Ary too will be included. Ary was unavailable for comment.

Those featured in the series pay to be included. Rossetti said Insight Publishing and she will prepare a list of questions and answers to be included in the book.

"I'm investing to be in this book," Rossetti said. "In exchange, they are giving me 300 copies. If I were to sell them at retail, that would be a tremendous opportunity for me."

However, Rossetti said, if she gives the $19.95 book away to prospective clients, the book has an even greater value.

"If I'm in a pack of speakers being considered and I'm in this book with Deepak Chopra, Dr. Joyce Brothers and the others, that makes me more credible as a legitimate speaker," Rossetti said.

Being in the book also "extends the shelf life of my message," Rossetti said.

Read once, the collected insight on adversity she's gained since becoming paralyzed from the waist down can be used to reinforce her message every time it's read.

"(The message) is a good shot in the arm, but over time it disappears. If it's reinforced, the shot in the arm is another booster, a positive reminder," Rossetti said.

Having her story collected once has a psychological benefit as well.

"It allows me to relive my life less," she said.

The interviews around the prepared questions will be broadcast in 12-part series (one per volume) over a national radio network. The Web site for Sevierville, Tenn.-based Insight Publishing, www.missionpossible.info, indicated stories for volume 5 currently are being gathered. Rossetti's volume currently is slated for 2002 release.
