My accident was in June of 1998, when I was hit by a tree while bicycling, and suddenly paralyzed from the waist down.

And I thought to myself, I've got another chance.

I am a consultant on accessibility. I have a unique perspective to help people to bring hope to their lives, and help them see possibilities where before they thought it was impossible.

I've had a love of plants from childhood. That empowered me to go to college at The Ohio State University and major in horticulture, with a dual major in agricultural education.

For me now to be on a path of accessibility and inclusion. That was in no way part of my business or my personal life.

I live to make a significant positive difference in the lives of others.
