Table and Chair Setup at Networking Events

PCMA Convening Leaders 2023 Convention

Transcript

Now, when you were seated and doing networking or eating, you had a whole selection of table height chair heights. You had some very heavy chairs without arms. I was with a woman who was very heavy and she said, "thank goodness they got some heavy duty chairs. Because oftentimes I'm at these events and these chairs are so lightweight, I'm afraid I'm going to break them." So she was thankful that the investment was made, that the chairs were heavy and supportive for her. Also, some people need armrests in order to get up and down. There were a lot of soft cushions in lounges, too. They're tougher for some people to get in and out of. They had tables of various height. The 30 inch is what's more common in terms of dining, but they also had some bar heights, more of the 40 inch. So those are my observations going back in time.
